Up to $50,000 to support WA SME’s
The Local Capability Fund offers SME’s in Western Australia to increase their capability, capacity & competitiveness as suppliers of products, services’s & works to the WA Government, major projects and other important markets.
The program offers a funding across five funding streams:
Aboriginal Business Round: Up to $50,000 on a 75:25 matching funding basis to support Aboriginal SME’s to enhance their capability and capacity to supply to major Western Australian State or Local Government agencies, the Australian Government and the private sector. More info click here.
Digital Transformation: Up to $25,000 on a 50:50 matching funding basis to support WA SME’s to adopt and use digital and data technology to improve productivity, competitiveness, resilience, safety and sustainability. For example to increase efficiency or strengthen cyber security. More info click here.
Standards Compliance: Offering up to $20,000 on a 50:50 matching funding basis for WA SME’s to engage external expertise to support implementation and third-party certification of national and international standards. For more info click here.
Supplying Key Projects: Up to $50,000 on a 50:50 matching funding basis for WA SME’s to enhance thier capability and capacity to supply to key projects run by WA STate or Local Government agenices, the Australian Government and the private business sector. Priority sectors include: Energy(oil and gas renewables), Mining, Civil Construction, Defence, Marine. For more info click here.
Regional Supplier Round: Up to $20,000 on a 50:50 matching funding basis to support SME’s across WA’s regions to enhance their capacity, capability and competitiveness to supply major projects and markets in Australia and overseas. For more info click here.
Applications across all funding streams must be submitted by 4 September 2025, or for the Standards Compliance Round when funding is exhausted.
